Hello, my name is Crystal and I’m from South Africa. I love playing sport like Netball, Tennis, Touch, Volleyball and sometimes swimming. I love painting even though I’m not very good at it. I also love how Paintings turn out when you blend all the colors together. I took this picture when I went out for brunch with my sister. Please leave me any feedback or questions you have below :)

Karn

Hi my name is Karn and I’m from Thailand, Bangkok. During my life of being alive I have a lot hobbies, 1. I like drawing, 2. I like video games and 3. I am a huge nerd in comic books on DC and Marvel .etc. I am an artistic type of person who only likes drawing, but i really don’t like painting because, it can mess up my drawing and I rather do it without color.  

Here is a drawing of batman that someone did that I really admire, ill add a drawing that i've done later.

And here is a drawing I did of Gohan Dragon ball Z, Goku's son, and on the bottom is the picture I copied it from.

Heyy my name is Jackie, I come from holland but I live Singapore. Some of my favorite things to do are shopping and hanging out with friends, I also really like sports especially Lacrosse. My parent love art so I go to museums regularly. My favorite type of art is art you can touch. There is an exhibition in Singapore right now and they have all types of art you can do stuff with, like for example a round Table tennis. I don’t have any of my art work right now but I will post some later. I do have 2 pictures I took of one of my favorite foods and a painting.

Bennett

Hi my name is Bennett and I really enjoy reading books written by Mitch Albom. I like listening to Thrash Metal as well as Norwegian black metal music. My favorite band in these genres is Gordoth but I also enjoy listening to Motor Head.

To the left is a photo I took of the lockers in school. I chose to take this photo because I like the lines in the photo, the first of the locks and the second being of the pillars. I would like to have any feed back in the way that I could improve on my photo.

Sonika's Art

My name is Sonika, I live in Singapore and go to UWC Dover. I am indian, but have lived in Dubai for about 8 years (I went to Jumeirah College) and here for 1 year now. I love playing the guitar and the piano, as well as learning new languages. My favourite subjects at school are maths, science and french. As for art, my favourite artists would probably be Leonardo Da Vinci or Michelangelo, both famous faces of the renaissance. Their pieces are all so very intricate and detailed, and have been able to stand the test of time.

My name is Sele and I'm Italian. I now live in Singapore and this is my first year at UWCSEA.
I love playing basketball and skiing ( even if here in Singapore is more difficult to find cold weather). I also play the piano. I really enjoy doing pencil drawing and sketching.

Kammie

Hello!
My name is Kammie. I am 13 years old, and live in Singapore, attending UWCSEA Dover. My parents are both teachers. My Father is Indian, but my Mother is Australian, but because they both grew up in Australia, I hail from Australia. I have traveled all over the world, since I was born, living in Australia, Malaysia, Tanzania, China, and now, Singapore.

I like Art as a whole, but my favorite form of art are simple pencil drawings. I feel like I can make a fantastic drawing using nothing more than a pencil and paper, so that is how I like to do Art.

This is a pencil sketch I did, a while ago. I like Aircraft, and drawing them, and have built up quite a heavy folder full of drawing similar to this one.

You may have also seen Eric's post. He is a friend of mine and also enjoy modelling with him. Here is a photograph of a B-24D Liberator model I built quite recently (In the background are some other ones I have done)

Hey, I'm Molly and I'm from New Zealand, Poland and Austria. I have lived in Thailand, Switzerland and now Singapore and go to uwc :). I love playing football, skiing and hanging out with friends. This is a picture of one of my drawings for my looking log, which we did when we went on our trip to Chiang Mai. It is supposed to capture the culture of Singapore. I like all types of art but I really like art with texture in it.

Mira's Art

Hi! My name is Mira Gupta, I’m 14 years old and I have been a student at UWCSEA Dover since grade 5 - I am now in grade 8. I’m Indian, but I was born in Singapore and have lived here since. I love to sketch and paint - and my favourite type of art to create is minimalist art. I don’t have a favourite artist, but I really like work by Hiroshige [1797-1858], who was a Japanese artist of the Edo period.

Below is a picture of my art ‘Looking Log’ which was a collection of artworks comparing Singaporean and Thai culture.

The top row of art is meant to show Singaporean culture, and the bottom is meant to show Thai culture.  

Antonio's Stuff

Heyo, I'm Antonio and this /\ is me... kinda (mouths are hard to draw). I like doing computer stuff, listening to indie rock and sleeping for long periods. I use programs like illustrator to make art, mainly to compensate for my lack of painting skill. I like digital art and recently have been getting into a lot of low poly/flat design kind of style of art, minimalism is great. I am also part of the graphic design team at my school so I do a bunch of logos and other such things. The stuff for this blog like the banner is designed by me. Yeah, I know the banner says "from" 8NAT. No, I don't know why,  I was pretty sick, as well as exhausted, and was taking painkillers when I made it, so I'm pretty surprised it turned out well.  If you have any questions or suggestions for the blog put them below, or don't, I don't mind. Pratyay's Art

Singapore Photoshop

Hi! I am Pratyay Didwania, 13 years old. My nationality is Indian but I have lived in Singapore my whole life. I am really excited about meeting people from different schools around the world through art blogs. I have been going to this school, UWCSEA Dover since Grade 2 and we are now in Grade 8. I enjoy playing cricket and golf, and I am an Apple fan. My favourite part about art is photography as it is something I like doing on holidays and I also find editing photos fun. Hello, I’m Donna Hayden. I am a student in UWCSEA grade 8. I’m fully Irish, I just moved to Singapore about 8 months ago. I love 'instagramming', horse-riding, singing, acting, dancing, playing the piano and of course shopping!

My favourite type of art is all art! I love and respect all types of art.
